Valeri Zolotukhin

Valery Zolotukhin memorial complex will be created in the Bystry Istok settlement in the Altai Territory.

The chief of the Regional Culture and Archiving Administration Elena Bezrukova reported about it on Friday, January 10.

The design and budget documentation will be prepared soon. The complex will be comprised of museums, a community center and a memorial house.

Elena Bezrukova informed about other events that would take place in the framework of the Year of Culture in the Altai Territory. One of them is the first Valery Zolotukhin All-Russian Youth Theatre Festival. It will take place in Barnaul in October, 2014. Dozens of theaters from all over Russia will participate in the festival.

Three new objects — the cultural business center Pushkin, and two regional community centers – will appear in the Altai Territory within the Year of Culture.
