Peter Greenaway Exhibition to Take Place in Moscow

Video installation Golden Age of Russian Avant-Garde prepared by Peter Greenaway will be held in Moscow.

      The project will take place in the framework of the Russian-British Bilateral Year of Culture in a Moscow exhibition centre in April.

      The video installation is based on 12 representatives of Russian avant-garde art, such as Malevich, Kandinsky, Eisenstein and Mayakovsky. In the course of installation a large number of images taken from their works will be shown. Greenway personally carried out casting of actors for the leading roles when he came to Moscow in November last year. The exhibition will run from April 15 to May 26, 2014.

      In addition to that over 500 various cultural events will be held in honor of the Russian-British Bilateral Year of Culture from January to December of the current year.
