The Draft Of the First Metro In the South of Russia

The design of the city metro is being developed in Rostov.

      A tender for the design documentation development of the first line of Rostov metro has been announced. The winning bidder will develop the design documentation of metro line of the section between the stations “Malinovskogo” and “Voroshilovsky”. It will pass through Sovetsky and Zheleznodorozhny districts from the district of RTETS(RTPP)-2 – along “Stachki”  Prospect - through the right-of-way of the North Caucasian Railway, then through Leninsky and Kirovsky districts - along Bolshaya Sadovaya Street reaching its intersection with Voroshilovsky Prospect.

      The price of work on the design documentation will be 942 million roubles. The companies willing to compete in the tender may apply until the end of January. The summing up is due on March, 19.
