On January 24 the Tretyakov Gallery will open an extended exposition for the anniversary of the first Russian female sculptor Anna Golubkina (1864–1927).
Her creativity became the symbol of blossoming of the plastic arts of Russia in the first third of the 20th century.
The sculptor’s works, which have been traditionally displayed in the Tretyakov Gallery halls in the Lavrushinsky Lane and the Krymsky Val will be supplemented with exhibits from the Gallery funds and one of its science divisions - the Museum Studio of Anna Golubkina.
The exhibition will run till March 23.
