Directorate of Railway Terminals – the branch of JSC "Russian Railways" – together with All-Russian public organization of physical culture and sports "Russian Association for Sport and Leisure Facilities" has examined six station complexes located in the area of the Olympic Winter Games in Sochi: Olympic Park, Krasnaya Polyana, Esto-Sadok, Adler, Sochi and Khosta.

      The examination identified stations' compliance to the requirements for ensuring a barrier-free environment for people with limited mobility. Upon completion of the examination all the stations were certified. Assessment of station complexes was done by the method of voluntary certification – “Equal opportunities. Inclusiveness. Availability." The use of common expert technologies during the 22nd Olympic Winter Games and 11th Paralympic Winter Games of 2014 in Sochi will provide a single barrier-free space in both sports and transportation facilities, the press service of Russian Railways reports.
