 I Loved Not Many. Ten Years Without Brodsky

On January 28 it will be ten years since the death of Josef Brodsky. It is a sad date in Russian history: on the same day Peter the Great and Dostoevsky died, and the next day Alexander Pushkin passed away.
      Josef Brodsky died of a heart attack in his sleep in New York. He was 55. According to the poets will, he was buried in Venice, on San Michel Island.
      The further away we are from the day of his departure, the greater meaning acquire his poetry and fate.
