Rosneft purchased tickets for the boxes at Olympic competitions in Sochi worth about 65 million rubles. The Company intends to award tickets to the top employees, as well as to invite foreign partners to the Olympics.
Particularly, box seat tickets were bought at Bolshoy Ice Dom and Fischt Olympic Stadium. "In order to strengthen and develop business relationships and maintain the image of Russia, delegations of major international companies were invited to visit the Olympic Games in Sochi,” the representative of Rosneft said, adding that the Olympics are not just a sporting event, but a business platform.
Rosneft is planning to hold several business negotiations during the Games in Sochi. For the period of the Olympic and Paralympic Games, Rosneft’s guests will stay in Sputnik recreational complex in Sochi. Sberbank, Rostelecom, Gazprom and other major Russian companies have Winter Olympic Games tickets as well. Many of them also invited their foreign partners to visit the Olympics.
