Video Reconstruction Of The Ancient Moscow Kremlin For Its 200th Jubilee

Museums of the Moscow Kremlin display their collections in Russia and abroad. At the exhibition of 2003 in Bonn and Berlin specialists of the Dramstadt University proposed to make a short movie that would tell of the Kremlin history. The film was created for the German audience without detailed reconstruction of the Kremlin buildings. For the 200th jubilee of the Moscow Kremlin Museums a Russian version of the movie is to be completed, with thorough 3D reconstruction of all the buildings.
The film scenario takes the viewers from the modern Kremlin to the days when it was a wooden fortress. In addition to architecture the program can also show natural phenomena, such as bright sunlight casting shadows that emphasize the relief of details, winter snow, wind and even the fire. There will be two versions of the reconstruction: a five minute long film for common visitors and a 20 minute long movie for specialists. The film will be demonstrated during various exhibitions.
