Thus, at year-end 2013 the average price of accommodation in Moscow hotels of four star level increased by only 1 % - up to 6.5 thousand roubles per day, as the research by Jones Lang LaSalle says.

      The recorded growth is disappointing for hoteliers, if we consider that the rates in the segment of four-star hotels increased by 4% annually in 2011-2012. In 2013 the cost of accommodation in three-star hotels did not change and remained at the level of the year 2012 - 4.6 thousand roubles per day. However, as David Jenkins, the Head of the Hotel Business Department of said Jones Lang LaSalle, said, in 2011 the rates in this segment increased by 12%, in 2012 - by 2%.

      At that, the load level in three- and four-star hotels did not change and remained 72 % and 71.5 %, respectively.
