The ceremony of awarding Ramada Kazan City Hotel the 4 Star certificate was held in Kazan, Tatarstan Centre of tourism development announces.

"Mandatory classification of the hotel is another step in hotel industry development and enhancing the image of Kazan as a tourist destination," Rafis Burganov, the Minister of Youth, Sports and Tourism said. The hotel belongs to the famous American Ramada hotel chain, which is a definite advantage, as the chain established a good reputation in the market.

As of today in Russia Ramada hotels operate in Moscow (Domodedovo), Kazan and Yekaterinburg. "Getting Russian stars was our goal, as Russian consumer knows the classification system very well and today we do correspond to these requirements. Experts estimated hotels on several criteria, including equipment, room condition and staff level, "general manager of Ramada Kazan City Tatayana Ilchenko said. All hotels in Kazan must pass the mandatory classification by the FIFA World Cup 2018. According to the law, the provision of hotel services or the temporary accommodation during the World Cup is allowed only if hotels or other means of accommodation hold a category (stars) certificate. They will have to pass the classification process (get the stars) until July 1, 2015 in the manner prescribed by the classification system.
