International art project will start working in the village Buguldeika of Olkhon district of Irkutsk oblast this month. The best ice masters of Russia and the whole world will sculpt a herd of horses racing along the riverbed of Buguldeika and the icy surface of the Lake Baikal.

The performances and concerts in Buguldeika and Irkutsk will be held weekly during seven weeks as the herd of horses will be sculpted. The herd of horses of the farmer and project partner Sergei Perevoznikov will pass along the route of the future ice herd on January 31, the day of entry of the New Year - the year of Horse, according to the eastern calendar. The herd of 384 ice horses (the number of days in the year of Horse on the Eastern calendar) will be completed on March 20, the vernal equinox day. Once melted, the herd will merge with the waters of the world ocean and pass into eternity.
