The centre of ethnic culture of the North-East peoples will be a unique object. It will be located near the mouth of the river Dukcha and take about 7 hectares. The centre will have huts, chums, yarangas, expositions of clothes of the North people, multifunction scene and many other things.

      The project developers - Magadan artists – make no secret that this centre was based on the experience of other cities with such centres, but they also claim that Magadan ethnic park will be more interesting than other parks. At the meeting of the working group the Mayor Sergei Abramov set the task to start preparing the necessary documentation in relation to electricity and water supply of the facility and after that to start designing. The construction of the facility will be carried out in several stages, the opening of the first stage is scheduled for the day of the 75th anniversary of Magadan.
