Ivan Okhlobystin

An activist of the LGBT community demands 30 thousand rubles from the actor Ivan Okhlobystin as compensation for moral damage.

The gay activist Nikolay Bayev filed a lawsuit against the actor Ivan Okhlobystin and reported about it on his Facebook page.

According to the activist, he goes to the law for honor and dignity protection. The activist declared that he would not count on Russian courts and planned to bring the case to the European Court on Human Rights. According to the gay advocate he aims at creating a precedent of defending rights of the LGBT community in Russia. “Total impunity of such people as Okhlobystin gives a free hand to real murderers and criminals” - he declared.
