Hobbit Village is planned to be founded on the steep bank of Osetr River in the Zaraysky District of the Moscow Region.

The construction of the camp site, where visitors can immerse in Tolkien’s magic is now on the list of prime investment projects in hospitality industry. In case of its successful implementation the district administration expect making 400 million rubles per year.

According to the project, the Hobbit Shire will provide fairy tale space for about 50 to 60 adults and children wishing to rest comfortable conditions but in the nature’s lap. After all everybody remembers: if it is a Hobbit lodge it is very comfy and cozy.

The place selected for the Hobbit camp is very quiet and clean, with pure air, and is close to a river and forest. The local landscape is very good for making a ski slope there. The main shortcoming of it is the absence of asphalted roads in the vicinities.

It is a reminder that Hobbiton built in New Zealand for shooting Lord of the Rings has become one of the major tourist attractions in this country.
