Federal Supervision Agency for Information Technologies and Communications suggests limiting display of some art works in Russian museums.
One of the documents on the department’s target programs mentions this initiative.
The program states that necessary recommendations have to be developed till the end of 2015. For this purpose the Agency’s experts will conduct a research on the basis of the present-day approach to exhibiting historical works in museums. Children and teenagers, as well as their parents, tutors and those going to work in cultural institutions will get advice on familiarization with Russian and foreign culture.
According to the Agency officials, the initiative suggested itself in association with the law On Protecting Children from Information Detrimental to their Health and Development, which does not block “content of considerable historical, artistic or other cultural value for society”.
