“Gazprom” gas holding plans to start commercial production of gas at the Kirinskoye deposit in this year, which is said in the company’s message, according to the results of the meeting of the Company’s President Aleksey Miller and the Governor of Sakhalin oblast Aleksandr Khoroshavin.

      The message also says that the volume of capital investments of “Gazprom” for the last five years amounted to about 250 billion roubles. In 2014 it is planned that the volume of capital investments will make up 10 billion roubles. Miller and Khoroshavin also discussed the issues of Sakhalin oblast gasification at the meeting. Since 2008 the company has allocated at least 3 billion roubles for this purpose.
