Exhibition Dedicated to Actor Oleg Yankovsky to Run in Moscow

A memorial exhibition for the 70th anniversary since the birth of the outstanding Russian actor Oleg Yankovsky will be opened in Moscow from February 23.

The exposition has been located in the Mikhail Schepkin House Museum, which is a branch of the Bakhrushin Theater Museum.

When Oleg Yankovsky died, thousands of people sent farewell telegrams. These evidences of nationwide love are also presented at the exhibition. Yet optimistic statements are immensely prevailing. Among the exhibits there are numerous articles, photos, and videos of Oleg Yankovsky’s best roles.

By the way, the actor’s autobiography, published in 2010, after his death, is titled in the same way as the current anniversary exhibition Smile, Messieurs!
