Wolfgang Pichler said he would most likely leave the Russian team after the Sochi Olympics.

      In an interview with Sovetsky Sport, the German coach praised the Russian female team that took silver in the 4*6km relay.

      According to him, he’s done his job despite the fierce criticism. Yana Romanova and Ekaterina Shumilova struggled to get qualified, no-one thought they were promising, but they got silver, he told Sovetsky Sport.

      Earlier, Olga Glazyrina complained that part of her problems was down to the fact that she joined Pichler’s group.
