Civil registrar of snow and ice opened in the city of Kirovsk in Murmansk Oblast.

      The participants of the first romantic wedding ceremony was a couple from Kola Subarctic region — Elena Nedoborovskaya and Artyom Andreev. The wedding ceremony held in unusual icy environment lasted about an hour. Newly marrieds certified the marriage bonds with their signatures and with a kiss. They danced on the ice parquet and raised their glasses made of superfine ice.

      700 square meters Ice Wedding Palace is built in the Snow Village building complex made of ice and snow. The marriages are going to be registered in the Ice Civil Registrar almost every day on preliminary applications till April 30.
