Kozhuhovskaya line of the Moscow metro will be launched not by separate segments, but entirely.
The city officials think it would be more reasonable. "It makes sense to launch the whole line entirely from starting station and virtually up to Nizhegorodskaya and Aviamotornaya. So, we are more likely to open it in whole," Moscow’s Deputy Mayor, Marat Khusnullin said.
Marat Khusnullin considers launching the entire north-eastern part of the Third Interchange Contour an ideal option. However, this may not happen due to technical reasons. The passage from Nekrasovka to Aviamotornaya is considered a minimum, but connecting the new segment with Lower Maslovka a maximum program. Kozhuhovskaya metro line will connect Nekrasovka to other districts of the capital. Its length will be 16.7 km. This section will have eight stations. The planned date of putting the line into operation is 2016.
