Another attempt to bake a pancake of three meters in diameter in the town of Yalutorovsk of Tyumen Oblast is planned for March 2 folk festivities dedicated to Maslenitsa.

      "This will be the eighth attempt to bake a giant Maslenitsa pancake. Last year, we almost succeeded: three-meter pancake was managed to get baked on a huge frying pan, but it was a bit torn when flipping it over," the representative of the City Committee on Culture and Tourism said. He also said, that this year they will emphasize on the pancake dough recipe and flip over method. It is quite possible that this year we will use a huge rolling pin to successfully flip the pancake over.
