Photo Exhibition of André Steiner Opened in Moscow

Multimedia Art Museum opens an exhibition of the famous photographer André Steiner today in the framework of the Photo Biennale 2014 festival.

André Steiner was an engineer, but at the age of 23 he took such deep interest in photography that by the mid 1930s became one of the most respected photographers. His series of pictures taken just in the 1930s extols physical perfection of the human body, which was very topical at that time. Steiner’s wife Lily, who was in a very good shape, often modeled for him. The photographer himself paid a lot of attention to sports and exercising.

The exhibition will run till April 20.
