A few days after cancellation of Okean Elzy’s concert in St. Petersburg the organizers of the Ukrainian band’s gig in Vladivostok reported about postponing it “for an indefinite period”.
The concert venue FESCO-hall, where the Ukrainian band Okean Elzy was expected to appear on April 19, has started refunding tickets. The reasons for cancelling the concert are not explained.
The problems with the band’s concerts in Russia occurred right after the claim of the Petersburg deputy Vitaly Milonov, who demanded to prevent Okean Elzy from performing in this country.
The deputy addressed the RF Minister of Culture with a suggestion of including the band’s frontman Svyatoslav Vakarchuk into the list of objectionable foreigners for his support of “the anti-Russian Maidan”.
