"The Sun", a puzzle consisting of thousand parts assembled by townspeople, lit up at the end of Cheesefare Week in capital's downtown.

      The carnival procession advanced from the Kuznetsky Bridge to Kamergersky lane, where a large solar circle, symbolizing the beginning of spring was installed. The festive demonstration involved the students of Moscow universities, representatives of creative collectives, musicians, mummers and skomorokhs. Costumes representing modern designer interpretation of traditional themes and а rare art object – a 10-meter Slavonic boat – were made specifically for the parade at the Moscow Arts and Industrial Institute. Tough young men wearing foil armors carried in their hands the copy of an ancient ship with Bereginia, the girl personifying the forces of fertility.
