Ritual of Ancient China to be Displayed in Moscow

Exhibition Ancient China: Ritual and Music. Bronze and Varnishes has been opened in the Pushkin Fine Arts Museum, Moscow.

      The exposition presents arts of China of the 17th – 3rd centuries BC. The exhibits have been provided from the collection of the Hubei Province Museum. Its collection includes over 260,000 artifacts found in archeological excavations; 812 items out of them are among the most precious relics of ancient China, and 16 have been recognized the national treasure of the country.

      The exhibition features more than 100 artistic culture monuments, which were created during the reign of the Shang and Zhou dynasties that marked the Bronze Age.

      The exhibition runs till 10 April 2014.
