The first infobox was installed in the regional capital in the hotel "Barnaul", the Tourist center of Altai Krai reported. According to the hotel director Sergei Voronov, Chairman of the Public Council under the Direction for Development of Tourism-and-Recreational, Sanatorium-and-Spa Institutions, this is a very important step made by the Administration of the Krai in promotion of the region’s tourism products.

      "Altai Oblast is at the forefront. I have been abroad and even there I haven’t seen anything like this. As a rule, to get information I had to address to the guides or hotel staff. And, of course, as a general manager I am pleased more than others that our hotel was the first where such infoboxes appeared. It's nice that we are in the forefront in development of the new methods of promoting the region's tourism products." As Sergei Voronov said, the equipment has already become popular with the guests. Tomsk hoteliers, who arrived in the capital of the region on business, were among first to evaluate the novelty.
