The Pushkin Museum of Fine Arts will open an exhibition of French rococo etchings on March 14.
For the first time Russian public will be introduced to Rococo etchings of the French Graphic Fund, which is one of the best collections in the Pushkin Museum. These are etchings, colored aquatint, and pencil graphic art from famous collections.
Altogether the exposition will be comprised of 60 works.
The etchings combined into themes of walking in a park, theater, fashion whims, beauty, and the like let the visitors feel the atmosphere of one of the finest epochs in history.The exhibition will present eight fans from the collection of Alexander Vasiliev Foundation.
The exhibition will run till 15 June 2014.
