Retrospective of Arno Rafael Minkkinen Comes to Moscow

The Lumiere Brothers Photography Center will open a retrospective of the world renowned photographer Arno Minkkinen on March 27.

Throughout almost all of his life he has been taking very strange composition pictures, such as hands rising above lake surface, bent knees against the background of desert landscapes, a naked body sprawling on the snow or entwining around a tree trunk, and other things of the kind.

Every photo is a little episode, a part of puzzle or mosaic; brought all together these particles make a novel, as seen by the photographer.

The exhibition will be held till May 11.
