675,000 Ukrainian citizens entered into Russia during two months of the current year. “The Russian authorities record clear signs of an impending humanitarian catastrophe” – the Russian border service reported.

      “If the “revolutionary chaos” in Ukraine continues, hundreds of thousands of refugees will flood into the border regions of Russia” - the service officers believe.

      According to RIA “News”, about 143,000 people asked for asylum. A large load is experienced by the territories bordering with Ukraine, particularly Belgorod, Rostov, Bryansk oblasts, Krasnodar Territory. In February of 2014 the migration flows from Ukraine to Rostov oblast increased by 53% and to Kursk oblast - by 71%.
