13.09.2004 00:00

The Minister for Finance of the RF Alexey Kudrin declared that the sale of YUKOS assets to be carried out to pay off the companys debts would become more transparent and would meet market principles. The Minister for Finance reported this in an interview for the British edition Financial Times.
Besides he added that the company was obliged to pay its debts. According to him, the statement that one of the most profitable Russian enterprises is being pressed to bankruptcy is but a myth.
