Moscow Airports Served 9,765,000 Passengers

Moscow airports Domodedovo, Vnukovo and Sheremetyevo served 9,765,000 passengers in January- February 2014, according to the data submitted by the airports.

      The growth was 11% compared to the same period of the last year. Only 8,797,000 people were served in January-February 2013. Vnukovo Airport has served 1,590,000 passengers since the beginning of the year, including 722.5 thousand people in February, showing 23.8% growth this month. Domestic flights grew slowly (382.6 thousand passengers) - 1.5 thousand more than in February 2013, at the same time, international flights showed an increase of 68.1% in two months. Sheremetyevo has served 4,065,000 people, the growth is 10.9% compared with the same period of 2013. In February a significant increase was shown by the domestic transportations - 25.4%. International flights grew more slowly - 2.9%.
