The popular French actor and Russian passport holder Gerard Depardieu has produced a limited series of watches under the name Proud to Be Russian.
Black watches with the two-headed eagle image made of gold have been made by the Swiss company Cvstos.
The price of the watch remains unknown.
A year ago the actor revolted with French government’s plans to increase “tax for the rich” by 75 per cent declared his intention to renounce the French citizenship and got the Russian passport.
Later Depardieu also acquired the right of permanent residence in Saransk, the capital city of Mordovia, however, he has kept the French citizenship.
