Forward from a Canadian "Boston Bruins" NHL team, Milan Lucic, called Russian fullback Alexey Emelin from "Monreal Canadiens" a coward for his refusal to fight with the Boston's captain Zdeno Chara.
Emelin refused to react on Chara's provocation, as the Boston's captain tried to punish the Monreal's fullback for his body-check against Milan Lucic. Chara was sent off from the pitch for two minutes for the fight challenge.
Emelin made a body-check against Lucic at the beginning of the drawing in a central zone. According to the Boston's forward, Emelin could traumatize him.
In the third period Lucic hit the Russian player in the back with a hockey stick, forcing Emelin to leave the pitch injured. The Canadian said he hadn't got a malicious intent for doing that.
The game between "Boston Bruins" and "Monreal Canadiens" took place on Monday night, March 25, and ended with the "Canadiens'" vistory 2:1. It was Emelin to shoot the first goal to the "Bruins'" gates.
