In the end of 2012, the law was signed by the President. In 2013, Earth Hour managed to collect 130,000 signatures for banning industrial logging in protected forests. It is already possible to take part in the event at present time.

Organizers collected votes for the protection of polar bears, Amur leopards, snow leopards, tigers and bisons. Public support will contribute to the successful holding of environmental projects. All interested people can support environmental projects on the campaign's website. This year's Earth Hour campaign will end with a fest on the Red Square in Moscow.
