More than a dozen tour programs will be offered to tourists and pilgrims, who are going to join summer festivities dedicated to the 700th anniversary of St. Sergius of Radonezh.

      "We have prepared a special program for the 700th anniversary of St. Sergius of Radonezh, which will be offered along with traditional excursion programs and interactive sessions," the head of the Tours Department of the Sergiev Posad State History and Art Museum-Reserve Olga Antoshkina said. According to the booklet prepared by museum experts, the visitors of Sergiev Posad will have the opportunity, together with guides, to visit not only The Trinity Lavra of St. Sergius, but also Chernigovsky Skit, the village of Radonezh, Spaso-Vifansky and Hotkovsky Pokrovsky monasteries. It also notes that there will be organized a sightseeing tour to "And the candle did not fade away" exhibition which will open in Konny Dvor on July 11.
