The famous British film director, artist and writer Peter Greenaway will open his exhibition on April 14 in Moscow.

      Peter Greenaway plans to visit Russia for shooting a film about the Soviet film director and art historian Sergei Eisenstein. It has been reported by Nikolay Borodachev, the head of the State Film Fund. “A whole delegation will arrive with him and we are going to discuss the long-conceived project. Titled Eisenstein among Friends, the project will be international, financed by Switzerland mostly” - he explains.

      The State Film Fund harbors research materials dedicated to Eisenstein. “Presently Greenway is writing the script, and has promised to send us the synopsis - that’s when the work starts”- Mr. Borodachev specified. Besides, the film director plans to digitize his old works in the State Film Fund.
