Photo Exhibition to Show Beauty of Unattractiveness in Moscow

The Belyaevo Gallery in Moscow will open the photo exhibition Beauty of Unattractiveness. Contextual Art on April 15.

The exhibition presents photos by lots of Russian artists. It is not staged photography: the main thing there is not an object, but a special view of it. Photographers urge us to see beauty in industrial facilities, rusty garages, bulky work overalls or habitual urban landscapes.

Along with the exhibition visitors will be invited to take part in workshops by the authors of displayed photos and in an interactive photo studio, where they will get a chance to create their own photography art works.

The exhibition runs till May 11.
