Researchers from Irkutsk used nanocomposite materials to build heaters, able to regulate electric current and surface temperature themselves. Such heaters are fireproof and use less electric energy.
50 heaters currently pass tests at homes of researchers and their friends. Investors from Korea plan to use the development to heat cars seats and steering wheels.
Pilot batch will consist of 2000 heaters. After tests up to 1 million heating devices will be produced monthly in Irkutsk, China and South Korea.
