New Training For Guides In Arkhangelsk

A training program for guides serving passengers of foreign cruise ships calling at the ports of Arkhangelsk region was launched in Arkhangelsk.

      The group includes participants speaking German, French or English. The training of future specialists is conducted by experienced guides, employees of local museums. The training course consists of lectures and practical studies. The graduates of the program will be given the necessary knowledge and skills for work with the passengers of cruise ships arriving at the port of Arkhangelsk and to Solovetsky Archipelago.

      The students who complete the training successfully will be involved into the service of the passengers of the five cruise ships planning to call at Arkhangelsk, Solovki and the National Park “Russian Arctic” this year, the Agency for Tourism and International Cooperation of Arkhangelsk Oblast reports.
