The ski season 2013-2014 finished in the all-season tourist and recreational complex “Arkhyz” included into the project of the North Caucasus tourism cluster.

      “The results of the test operation of the all-season tourist and recreational complex “Arkhyz” exceeded our expectations. This year we planned to achieve the result of 18 thousand people of tourist flow, but the number exceeded 35 thousand tourists per season. At the same time we were able to sell more than 26 thousand ski passes” - the press service of “Resorts of the North Caucasus” OJSC quoted the General Director Sergei Vereshchagin.

      The most popular route among tourists was the sightseeing route on the gondola road, this season these services were in demand of about 14 thousand people. “Arkhyz”   was put into test operation and began to accept the first tourists on December 21, 2013. Last season the territory of the first tourist resort village – “Romantic” – had only two working hotels of the categories 3* and 4*, a service centre, a children’s ski town.
