Chistoprudny Boulevard hosted the spring holiday parade of trams.
This event is confined to the 115th anniversary of the Moscow tram. The parade features unique museum exhibits of SUE “Mosgortrans” and the modern machines. A total of 17 tram cars from different eras take part in the parade, including trolley released in 1880, the tram "F" released in 1908, the car of the model “KM” of the 1930s, Czechoslovak “Tatra” trams that were in operation in the Soviet Union for almost 30 years, as well as a the trams of new generation - the cars PESA and Alstom.
During the exhibition organized on the Boulevard the residents of the city are able to visit the salons of trams and make photos of themselves against rarities. Special employees in the suits of corresponding eras work in each car, as well as the staff of the museum of retro transport who providing information about the parade and its exhibits.
As a part of the holiday of SUE “Mosgortrans” a competition for the best graffiti tram design, as well as children’s drawing competition are held. The winners are awarded during the parade. The best pictures are placed on Chistoprudny Boulevard as an exposition until 27 April, and the tram designed in a graffiti style will run on one of the Moscow routes for one month.
