Sand Sculpture World Championship to Take Place in Moscow

April 26 will see the opening of the Sand Sculpture World Championship in the Kolomenskoye Memorial Estate in Moscow.

      Well-known sculptors from different countries, including Russia, Italy, Holland, Ireland, France, Latvia, Poland, and Ukraine have been invited to the big event.

      In the open-air they will create sand sculpture masterpieces, each from 3 to 5 meters high. The topic this year is Cities of the World.

      A big sandbox will be prepared for little visitors and contests in sand sculpture for children.

      The exhibition will run till October 5.
