Slayer to Give 3 Concerts in Russia

The popular American trash metal band Slayer is going to give only three concerts in Russia.

The gigs will take place in Nizhny Novgorod, Moscow and St. Petersburg from August 3 to August 5.

The Slayer band was founded in California in 1982. The album Reign in Blood released in 1986 became classics of the trash metal style, and the band later on joined the so-called Big Four of Trash Metal, along with Metallica, Megadeth and Anthrax. In May of the last year the founder and guitarist of the Slayer band Jeff Hanneman died at the age of 49.
