Presentation of Crimean tourist potential took place in Yekaterinburg on The Great Ural forum.

      Sverdlovsk Oblast has become the first Russian region which was shown the program of the peninsula. Most of the forum visitors pointed out that they are interested in children's sanatorium-resort recreation with dolphin therapy. "This procedure is prescribed for children with complex forms of paralysis and diseases of the musculoskeletal system, the Minister of Resorts and Tourism of Crimea Elena Yurchenko explained during the presentation. - Dolphins do not entertain the children, they treat them. They are amazing animals, which work miracles and get gravely ill teenagers on their feet. I'm happy that Russian kids have a unique chance to take such procedures at their home."

      What kinds of tourism are planned to be developed on peninsula? Mrs. Yurchenko said that wine tourism can become an interesting destination for Russians. For Russians, pilgrimage tourism is an unexplored tourist destination on the Crimean peninsula.

      Event tourism is developing in Crimea as well.

      Sanatorium-resort recreation remains the main tourism type in Crimea.
