The quay of Gorky Park in Moscow hosted the opening ceremony of a new, 81st passenger navigation on the Moscow River.

      The festive event was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Transport, Capital Shipping Company, Rosmorrechflot, Moscow Government, Moscow River Shipping Company, Moskomturizm reports.

      At the ceremony the parade of the students of Navigation School, Cadet Corps, the State Academy of Water Transport and patriotic youth organizations of Moscow was shown. Moscow river fleet is very diverse: there are both, pleasure and sightseeing Stolichny shallow draft ships, which allowed opening a new route with entering into the Vodootvodny Canal and maneuverable single-deck "water taxies". Moscow vessel fleet has also ships from the Moscow Banquet fleet, double-decker luxury River Palace liners and the all-weather and all-season flotilla of Radisson Royal, which includes 10 icebreaker class yachts, half of which were launched as recently as 2012-2013.
