Lab Frog Monument to be Set up in Tambov

Following the World Day For Animals In Laboratories an annual ritual of releasing frogs took place on the bank of river Tsna in Tambov.

“The kind physiologist day”, as named by students, turned to be international: nearly half of its participants were beginning doctors from different countries.

Everyone held a jar with lucky frogs to be released and sang along with performers of a dramatized concert that was held on this humanistic occasion on the river bank. Soon a special pathway for releasing laboratory frogs will be equipped here and marked with a lab frog monument. It will be the world's third monument of the kind after Paris and Tokyo.

Students were delighted to hear this news, and then went down to Tsna and released their laboratory fosterlings.
