The Tretyakov Gallery has opened the exhibition Only Italy! Architectural Graphic Art of the 18th - 21st centuries.
The project brings together more than 200 works by Russian and Italian artists from the 18th century up to nowadays: from Giovanni Battista Piranesi to Sergey Kuznetsov, the present chief architect of Moscow.
The exposition is placed in three halls, each of them presenting works from different periods of the architectural drawing genre. Observing them makes it possible to see how artists’ perception of Italian architecture was changing over time.
The exhibition runs till July 27. The admission cost is 300 rubles.
