Monument to Russian Avant-Garde to be Set Up in Novosibirsk

An international contest on creating an art object dedicated to the avant-garde artist El Lissitzky is held by the Siberian Modern Art Center. 

      The art object of urban environment in Novosibirsk will be an open-air ground for cultural events and will be located near the Globus Theater, the press-service of the regional administration reports.

      The avant-garde monument is supposed to become a popular modern venue for arranging music concerts, exhibitions, performances and other cultural projects. 

      The monument contestants are not limited to certain materials, planning pattern and color palette. 

      It should be noted that the project Realms of El Lissitzky has been implemented by the Siberian Modern Art Center for the third year.
