Russian citizens are advised not to travel to Saudi Arabia, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates because of coronavirus. Respective recommendation was published on Rospotrebnadzor website. "According to WHO, in September 2012 around the world there were registered 231 laboratory-confirmed cases of human infection with the new coronavirus, including 93 fatal cases. Diseases are reported mainly in the Middle East: Jordan, Kuwait, Qatar, UAE and Oman, but the largest number of cases reported in Saudi Arabia," says the statement. To prevent contamination with the infection, Russians are recommended to refrain from traveling to Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates without urgent need. When visiting these countries, Rospotrebnadzor advises to use protective masks and refuse visiting places of mass gatherings and contacts with people, who are sick with a high fever. "When visiting Middle Eastern countries it is better to avoid contacts with camels," the report says.
