Spokesperson Of VKontakte Denies Mass Retirement Of Developers

Spokesperson of "VKontakte" denies mass retirement of developers from social network caused by CEO Pavel Durov dismissal. He reported this on his social network page.

"This is nothing more than speculation," Mr. Lobushkin wrote, noting combative optimism of the employees. According to the spokesperson, Durov's dismissal was an "emotional shock" for the team.

On April 21 press office of "VKontakte" spread the message that the powers of its CEO Pavel Durov were terminated ahead of time because he has not withdrawn his resignation letter on his own will. Shareholders intend to choose "VKontakte" CEO at the next board of directors. By that time the company will be managed by Dmitry Sergeev together with the first deputy general director Boris Dobrodeyev.
